We were taking 17 people on a week-long cruise so it was imperative that we have coverage in case something were to happen to interrupt or interfere with one of all of our vacation plans. While we were fortunate and didn't have to use the plan, just having complete coverage certainly went a long way to ease the stress I was feeling.

We cruise a great deal and always buy trip insurance but this was the first time I had seen a policy specifically for cruises. The coverage makes much more sense than a straight trip insurance policy. I needed to file a claim for a medical problem that occurred during the trip and the process was quick and efficient without a hassle. I believe I was treated fairly.

Using the website to select my insurance was easy. I was offered quite a few options so I was able to select a plan that met my needs. The website gave me the ability to compare the plans and costs so I could select the most cost effective plan without paying for extras I didn't need. Fortunately, our air travel, transfers, port excursions, and 7-day cruise all went quite smoothly.
