Seven Corners Roundtrip
The representative answered all of my questions and as far as I am aware the coverage seemed to be all we needed. I would not hesitate to to refer to a friend or to use again should the need arise.

I did not need to file a claim, but having the insurance during my trip made me feel safe knowing it was there when needed.

Seven Corners Roundtrip Choice
It's difficult to evaluate a plan unless I need it to file a claim. However, I called customer care # for Seven Corners a few times for questions, some were adequately answered, some were not.

The plan we purchased through Seven Corners was reasonably priced and provided very good coverage in comparison to other plans that were offered in the same price range. Also, we received good documentation to take along with us for our trip, including contact numbers. The peace of mind was worth the cost. I'm just glad we didn't need it during our vacation!

not being so computer savvy I called and the representative was easy to work with, competent, clear and efficient. All fell comfortabley in place plus all the follow up info via computer worked well. I would most definitely recommend your services to all others I know who travel as you have choices and prices to choose from. to be sure if and when another travel plan comes my way I will go to your site to purchase the necessary coverage.

Seven Corners Roundtrip
I’ll start by saying we’ve traveled often and purchased insurance each time for the last several trips. We have particular requirements and the InsureMyTrip agent we spoke with was remarkably patient and helpful in sorting out the various options and directing us to the one or two that would meet our needs. So we have only appreciation for the service from IMT.

The trip insurance companies, however, are a different story. I believe the basic principle of Seven Corners, probably all the insurance companies, is to minimize the likelihood of having to pay a claim either by the terms and conditions or the obstacles to filing. We did file a claim. Because our initial outbound flight was cancelled, we missed a continuing flight and had to pay $1,200 for a ticket for the following day (plus other expenses). The claim forms are remarkably picky, requiring an actual ticket rather than an e-ticket. Who provides paper tickets anymore. And the other documentation requirements were onerous, designed to create barriers rather than to facilitate the process.

But it was the fine print that was eyebrow raising. After accepting the claim, Seven Corners sent checks for all of $150, which was their policy limit for trip delay. That’s it. Doesn’t matter what it actually cost; that’s all they’ll pay, far less even than the cost of the premium.

It was too much of a hassle to fight and probably lose an appeal so I gave up.

If you read the reviews on this site, very few purchasers had to file a claim and many of these were dissatisfied.

Lesson: Carefully read the fine print. The limits are pretty low. The claim process is painful. The premiums are high. I suspect this is true for all insurers, not just Seven Corners. I also suspect that, for these reasons, it’s a fabulously lucrative business. Be forewarned.

    Dear Michael,
We do accept e-tickets. Because of your feedback, we realized an old claim form requesting paper tickets was still in circulation. The Round Trip program does have daily limits of 0 for travel delay. Please contact your Insure My Trip representative and we can reopen your claim for review.
