Although we didn't need to call upon the travel insurance plan, it provided a measure of reassurance about medical needs while out of the USA and, of lesser importance, invested travel expenses. Fortunately did not utilize this insurance. I thought the cost was reasonable for family of 5 to Caribbean for a week. Covered primary medical, air evacuation, and the usual trip insurance items.

We did not have to file a claim, but came very close, due to being delayed and almost stranded for days in the Northeast, due to the Goliath winter storm. When the possibility of becoming stranded became a real possibility, due to delayed and canceled flights all around us, I contacted TravelSafe Customer Service in order to confirm our coverage, in case we needed it.
The Customer Service Representative I spoke with was professional and competent. He answered all of my questions and I felt confident that, had we had to utilize our travel insurance and file a claim, we had the needed coverage and that our needs would be met (and covered).
We will not hesitate to purchase a TravelSafe insurance policy in the future.

Since it was not necessary to file a claim, I could not tell if the TravelSafe Classic plan was good. Prior experience with InsureMyTrip made me comfortable in knowing that I would be taken care of by TravelSafe in the event a problem occurred. I kept the TravelSafe emergency number with me at all times.

I claimed fly delay (it was 9 hours delay), but I never heard back from them. I try to send few emails, but it is no answer. On Web side it says that clime closed without any explanation. Now I will be claim to return my money that I paid for this insurance.
