We did not go to Costa Rica and I tried multiple times to get in touch with someone. I thought the point of travel insurance was to help with the cost when you couldn’t go.

This experience couldn't have been easier. We got the coverage we needed as required for entry into Costa Rica, as well as the additional coverage we wanted for our regular expenses. COVID-19 was surging between when I purchased my airline ticket and the day of my flight, and I suddenly realized that a positive test before my return meant I could have to stay isolated at my destination for two weeks, which was a scary (and expensive) thought! I was happy to find such affordable insurance only a couple of days before I took off, with coverage that promised to take care of much of the expense that would come with a positive diagnosis. Fortunately I tested negative so I didn't have to use it, but the peace of mind was very helpful, and it came at minimal cost. Hopefully those who have to actually use the coverage have positive experiences with it!

The Safe Travels Voyager met my needs. I give high praise to Insure My Trip agency who helped me secure this plan. However, I give no praise to Trawick International Co for their poor customer service to answer questions about the plan. I never received a response to my questions and messages about the plan I wanted to buy from Trawick International. Thank goodness the agents at “Insure My Trip” that I stumbled upon was able to answer all questions that I had and made me feel like I had purchased the best plan for me.
