The AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold plan offers mid-level coverage and more options than Travel Guard Basic and Travel Guard Silver, allowing you to customize the plan to best fit your needs. In addition to Trip Cancellation, this plan offers Cancel for Any Reason coverage and a Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver. Children age 17 and under are free when there is at least one covered adult on the plan.

Our trip was cancelled due to a blizzard which cancelled our flight. We received a check from TravelGuard 2 weeks after submitting our claim. They paid the full amount of our Resort charges, as they were non-refundable. Very satisfied with this plan.

Thankfully, we had no issues. I was to travel by car from Tennessee to Florida to make my cruise connection. Weather and road conditions can change quickly. The customer service representative recommended this policy because it had the specific coverage I needed. The customer service representative understood my concern and found a policy that fit. The main reason I sought travel insurance was to protect against political unrest. Political unrest is not a covered event so it was almost not worth getting travel insurance.

Very straight forward purchase. I called InsureMyTrip to speak with a customer service representative, and she was so helpful in comparing the coverages available. I would say that the customer service representatives are probably the best thing about InsureMyTrip.

Good service, good coverage. I wanted the plan especially for emergency return in case of injury or illness. As it turned out I had a close call on a possible leg injury, but luckily didn't need the emergency return. I had to alter the policy just before leaving due to a date error I had made. Travel Guard was very helpful, amending the policy without a problem.

I'm a member of a cruise review website, and travelers often ask about travel insurance, and which company to use. I always recommend Travel Guard. We prefer Travel Guard over the travel insurance offered by the cruise company.

Also, you purchased the Cancel For Any Reason benefit. If the insured cancels the covered trip for any reason not otherwise covered, the Insurer will reimburse 50% of the prepaid, forfeited, non-refundable trip cost provided the following conditions are met:
1. the insured purchases this Cancel for Any Reason Coverage within 15 days of the date the Insured’s Initial trip Payment or deposit,
2. this insurance coverage is purchased for the full cost of all non-refundable, prepaid trip costs.
3. the Insured cancels the insured Trip no less than 48 hours prior to the Departure Date.
