Thankfully, I never had to file a claim, but it was reassuring to know that I was covered in case something did go wrong. I arrived safely in Italy, my luggage however, decided to stay in Munich. I was staying with friends who were surprised by my lack of concern over my lost luggage. I explained that I had travel insurance and in the worst case scenario, I would have to buy new clothes. My luggage arrived three days later by courier. Italy was the trip of a lifetime! I will buy this insurance for my next trip as well!

7 out if 12 people in our group got covid and had to extend their stay in Israel. I was one of the lucky ones. I only hope they had insurance to help with the additional fees.

Having this plan gave me peace of mind that if anything happens I will be covered. Lucky for me I didn't need to use it but I prefer to have it and do not need it rather than need it and don't have it.
