Most of our trip went smoothly, but part had to be cancelled due to weather. I worked with the tour operator and received a full refund. I didn't file a claim, but it was comforting to know I had it if I needed it during the trip.

Yes, I filed a claim due to an unforeseen illness. I did have to provide my doctor's statement as well as my medical records for a 3 month prior to the date of travel to determine if illness was pre-existing. Beyond that I received a full refund for my entire trip.

I had written a review earlier that was not favorable because I had not received a refund as yet, after a month. However, I did receive payment today for the trip not taken, although it took longer than I anticipated. Would probably recommend.

I am glad that you are out there. I like shopping for my basic needs. Trip insurance seems over priced to me, but I am happy that I didn't have to use. The true test will be what happens when I do have to submit a claim.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The policy cost for comprehensive policies is determined by the cost of the trip, the duration of the trip, and the ages of the travelers. Also, the optional "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit was selected on your policy and did result in additional premium.Sep 16,2014

Fortunately, we did not have to file a claim and our trip was uneventful - as I expect is true of most of your customers. However, I still do feel the cost of the plan was too expensive.
