The representative was very helpful, and took time with information and details about what was covered, what my options were, since ours was a small local (within the state) trip. Having this insurance lessens the stress of traveling.

I scheduled a trip late so the decision to insure it was relatively last minute. The agent I spoke with was helpful in directing me to the appropriate policy and the price was reasonable. Fortunately I did not need it!

Since I didn't need to file a claim, it is impossible to say how good the insurance is. However, have used Insure My Trip in the past and they always pointed me in the right direction. When I have filed claims (twice) they work out well.

The lady at your office with whom I talked was very helpful.
But I don't know how the policy would have helped since I had no claim to submit. I was mostly concerned that if I got sick before my trip, and had to cancel it, that I would have gotten my money back thru you.
She said you would have paid, but I'm not so sure since I got the policy just a few days before I left on the trip.

In addition to trip cancellation, most Comprehensive Plans offer coverage such as trip interruption, baggage, medical, dental, emergency evacuation, 24-hour traveler assistance, and accidental death benefits.
Luckily I didn’t need it, but since I was going to a place where hurricanes can hit, and we had family coming from all parts of the US, we felt really secure knowing we were covered !

The insurance plan was very easy to find, the website easy to navigate, and the protection excellent at a great price. I will continue to use this insurance for future trips.

We purchased this plan for our trip to Glacier. American Airlines canceled our connecting flight and this insurance company is not wanting to pay for us not getting to our first night AirBnB. Said that American Airlines said it was due to completion of pilot duties and that is not covered. It would be covered for weather, mechanical or strike, but not this. Who cares why it happened. This was caused by our flight being canceled by the airlines, not us. We ended up having to purchase new airfare and the cost was exorbitant. I figured we would at least get reimbursed for the first night hotel that we missed if not some of the new airfare. I am very upset and will NEVER recommend this plan again.

We were able to get payment for our trip in the end. It did take work on my end to speak to a manager and sending more information. American Airlines had canceled a connecting flight due to one of the reasons that had been accepted. I do believe any problem that an airline would cancel for should be covered, but it all worked out in the end. I suggest reviewing and comparing all insurances carefully. Thank you.
