Last year I was delayed 12 hours by delayed flight departure , My plan payed for a missed day at hotel & extra transportation. Very easy and quick reimbursement.
I bought for medical coverage and was pleased I had this extra coverage. Not expensive.
I used again recently, but didn’t need any reimbursement. Definitely recommend & will always use on my trips:)

We had to cancel our January 26, 2024 cruise in mid-December when my husband needed an immediate knee replacement. I filed the claim paperwork on December 15, 2023. Today is March 1, 2024 and we finally got our claim resolved and received a payment today to reimburse our non-refunded cruise fare. I think the most annoying thing about the process was lack of communication and clarity as to the status of our claim. The first communication I received about the claim was 1 month after I filed. In addition to the documents that I originally filed, I was asked to provide additional documents to support my claim and had to scramble to collect them in a format that was acceptable to the agency. They did acknowledge receipt of the documents, but I heard nothing for several weeks. I finally started calling to check on the status of the claim. I will note that I was always treated respectfully by the agents with whom I spoke. This is the first time (and I do hope the last) that I have submitted a claim so I have nothing to compare the length of time it took to resolve the claim, but it did seem like a long time.

I filed a claim under the cancellation clause due to COVID infection. I was directed to portal to file paperwork kept receiving emails to submit paperwork after each submission. No direct email to agent or support.

Being on Medicare and going out of country scared us into purchasing the insurance - mostly for the health coverage. It gave us peace of mind knowing that if something "very bad" happened that we would be covered. Fortunately the cruise went on right as scheduled and we were only in Jamaica and Haiti for a few hours each WITHOUT INCIDENT.
