Leaving the USA for a vacation is not like driving to the next state. Many things can occur that we Americans do not even begin to consider. Having a solid, broad, and reasonably priced insurance plan in place before hand completely eliminated any concern that I had. I reviewed the plan before we left, carried a hard copy of the plan with me in my carryon luggage and did not worry a bit. My vacation went without a hitch, but had it not, I was completely covered by this excellent plan.

Such a simple process to ease the mind when vacationing. You don't have to worry 'if something goes wrong, how will we take care of it' because it is all in your policy! It is so nice having coverage! Wish I would have known about Travel insurance years ago. Husband and I took a trip to Mexican Riviera in 2003, he ended up extremely sick with fever, nausea, vomiting for four days of our 7 day trip. I was so concerned I stayed in the hotel room with him trying to find a sooner flight home after seeing the resident physician. So not only were we out a few hundred dollars for the doctor, but we did not get to enjoy the trip. I have now gotten Travel insurance for every vacation since.

Like nearly everyone else taking cruise vacations, we had to swap around the departure and return dates for our travel insurance. Not a problem - easy as pie to make the change although I learned that I had to call insuremytrip and not the Nationwide or Trawick. Thankfully, we had no need to make any claims so I can't comment on that process.
