Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Due to covid-19 outbreaks, my trip was cancelled by the airline and resort. Travelex denied my trip interruption claim. Other than the fact that it took 3 months for them to get back to me (after multiple inquires) but I was looking for a credit towards a future trip - not necessarily a refund. Nowhere was I given that option that BTW my traveling friend who used another insurance company was offered. I will NOT be using Travelex again!!

This plan was somewhat expensive, but allowed coverage for pre-existing conditions when purchased by the time of final payment for the trip. Fortunately, we did not need to make a claim, so can't speak to their claims process or satisfaction.

The Insuremytrip website makes it easy to compare plans in a way that is clear and understandable. We chose a plan to fit our needs, and are happy to have done so. The best news of our recent trip is that we did not need to file a claim. But we did need to file one on a previous trip, and AIG was wonderfully responsive! We will use these folks again and again.
