We did not take our trip due to a politicians death and cancellation of all events in Cuba. C/F Travel Insured provided an immediate refund as we had not departed for our trip. We had previously used this service for a trip to Europe and were extremely satisfied with the service as well.

Any insurance is purchased with the idea of never having to use it. Since we thankfully didn't have to use it it's hard to judge whether it would have covered all situations but we think it was reasonably priced and therefore we were satisfied.
