I had no use for the plan at all, although I'm aware this might not have been the case. I primarily purchased it for coverage in the case of terrorist activity in Egypt which did not occur. However I believe the plan was out of line in cost and I regret spending so much to cover a small risk.

It is difficult to rate since I had no reason to file a claim, but InsureandGo DID allow me to change the dates of coverage at no additional cost when my original tour was cancelled and re-offered on different dates.

I paid over $900 for the plan. I filed a claim for one night of a pre-paid hotel that I was unable to use due to a delay. It took four months to get the claim resolved. They stated that I had not submitted all necessary information, but never contacted me about what I supposedly had not submitted. After three months, I contacted them and was told that I had not responded to their request for additional information. I responded by forwarding them the last email I had received from them that acknowledged they had received my paperwork. I hate to think how they would have handled a claim if I'd been trying to be reimbursed for an amount greater than the premium paid.

They promptly handled a claim for a missed hotel reservation due to a delayed flight. My complaint is that we were held over in London returning, and had to buy some things for the stay overnight, as our checked luggage was not available. InsureAssist would not cover that claim since it was on a return flight home, and we already had one delayed flight claim, and they did not cover two.

We would like to provide some insight on why the baggage delay claim and second travel delay claim cannot be covered on the policy. It is industry standard that the baggage delay benefit is for outbound flights only. In addition, travel delay coverage is typically provided on a one-time basis per trip. We had lost bags. Global Alert worked diligently to locate our bags and help get them released. We had been trying to no avail to locate the bags. We'd been getting the run-around from the airlines and airport. We believe that the reason we got the bags back was because of the work Global Alert did for us!

Purchased trip insurance through Seven Corners for myself and my husband during a 2-week trip to Egypt. It was reasonably priced. We had to file a claim for a lost article of clothing. The claim process was easy to complete and the service rep. walked me through the form and process - which I was able to complete all over email. My claim was approved and I received follow-up messages with the status. A check arrived about 3 weeks later and I was reimbursed for the cost of my item less 20% depreciation. Overall I was very pleased with this company and would use them. Highly recommend.
