I was disappointed that I could not get any reimbursement for lost luggage until 48 hours lost. I had to replace clothes right away because all I had was what I flew with.

Although coverage varies between plans, your Berkshire Hathaway plan offered Travel Baggage Delay (secondary coverage) after a 24 hour delay up to 200 USD maximum per person.
"If, while on a Trip, Your Baggage is delayed or misdirected by the Common Carrier for at least the number of consecutive hours shown in the Schedule, the Company will reimburse You up to the Maximum Limit shown in the Schedule for the purchase of Necessary Personal Effects. Necessary Personal Effects do not include jewelry, perfume and alcohol. Incurred expenses must be accompanied by receipts. This benefit does not apply if Baggage is delayed after You have reached his/her Return Destination.
Incurred expenses over must be accompanied by receipts."

I'm home from a very successful trip. . . beautiful scenery, shore excursions with history lessons, good travel mates, excellent New England lobstah, and on-time flights without lost luggage. Best of all, no need to file an insurance claim with Roam Rite Essential, but knowing I had the coverage gave this 71-year-young traveler the peace of mind I sought while away from home.

The cost of insurance is frequently something we’d rather not have to pay. As a past claimant of travel insurance I won’t plan a trip without it. This plan was average cost and provided the coverage that gave us peace of mind.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our September 2018 cruise (a hurricane will make travel impossible). The claim filing process was easy and the claim was paid fairly quickly. Can't ask for more than that.

The best cruise insurance is the policy you never need to use. This policy was reasonably priced compared to the competition, provided the basic items I wanted to ensure, and gave me peace of mind while on vacation. And best of all, I did not need to use it.
