Thankfully, none of us who traveled needed the insurance: a safe trip! Nonetheless, I was glad to have it. I wish it were not quite so expensive, especially as one gets older.

GoReady Insurance Choice
I chose the 'cancel for any reason' option, and when I contacted a representative by phone, I was told my claim was valid, and would be paid. Once I was assigned a (different) representative for email contact, she told me my claim was not covered. I persisted and asked to have a claim form sent to me so I could file. In the end, it was, in fact, covered. If I had not been persistent, I would have lost hundreds of dollars.

Based on your review, it appears you took the steps that we would have recommended, but we do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.

How can you be satisfied or dissatisfied with something you've never used? Like all insurance products, the odds are in favor of the insurer and with travel insurance in particular, it is probably used to offset the costs of other products that actually have to pay out. Entirely too expensive.!

    Comprehensive policy premiums are rated based on the age of the traveler, his/her trip cost and the length of the trip. Since we offer plans from more than 25 of the leading providers of travel insurance, the pricing also varies by plan. Generally, the more expensive plans offer the broadest benefits with some exceptions.

Impressive service! When I called them from England for an emergency matter, they spent time asking the problems that I was having and in less than 30 minutes, they were able to find a list of hospitals which were close from the hotel and they also made sure that all the hospitals were covered by our insurance. Thank you for everything!!

AXA Assistance USA Gold
They covered our prepaid hotel cost up to the plan limit due to our delayed flight. They requested one more documents with their claim form than their rep told me to collect when I contacted them during the delay, but I had this. They confirmed receipt of our claim and said it would be processed within one month. I did not hear back until I contacted them after a month. I have now received a confirm that the claim will be paid within 10 - 15 business days.
