Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
My wife was seriously injured on a trip to India and Bhutan. We missed two days of activities on the tour and this insurance company, AXA, reimbursed for those days. There was no fuss, no argument, just cooperation and payment. This is the best.

I attempted to call your company to file a claim and get help with a trip delay in India. I was told from the 24 hour emergency number that they could not help me, could not tell me whether scheduling a flight out of that mess would be covered, could not send me more information about coverage,and were the least helpful people in a time of stress. I regret purchasing this package and will warn everyone I can not to purchase it. I organized many group trips a year and could not have been more disappointed. It has been the worse experience with a agency I have ever had.

We are very sorry to hear that you were not happy with the 24 assistance service provided while in India. Nevertheless, CSA will not agree to refund your premium now that you have completed your trip and have declined the opportunity to submit a claim.
Your policy did include Travel Delay (150 USD Per Person Daily Limit Applies) 1,000 USD Maximum.
"TRAVEL DELAY COVERAGE
If you are delayed on your Trip for 6 hours or more, we will reimburse you, up to the amount shown in the Schedule for reasonable additional expenses incurred by you for lodging Accommodations, meals, telephone calls, local transportation, and additional vehicle parking charges and additional pet kennel fees incurred due to the delay. We will not pay benefits for expenses incurred after travel becomes possible.
Travel Delay must be caused by or result from:
a. delay of a Common Carrier; or
b. loss or theft of your passport(s), travel documents or money; or
c. Quarantine; or
d. hijacking; or
e. natural disaster or adverse weather; or
f. being directly involved in a documented traffic accident while you are en route to departure; or
g. unannounced strike; or
h. a civil disorder; or
i. Sickness or Injury of you or a Traveling Companion; or
j. death of a Traveling Companion."

Nice comprehensive package, easy to sign up for, and at a reasonable price. Trip went well, so thankfully didn't have to make a claim, but would probably purchase the AIG plan again on future similar trips.
