It is hard to say whether a plan is good unless you have to file a claim, which I didn't. Therefore, the ratings are only related to the purchasing of the plan and not the quality of the company, the coverage, customer service or other important issues.

We recently had to make a claim due to a medical problem that occurred shortly before our planned trip. The claim was handled smoothly, with a minimum of paperwork required from us. Our payment was quite substantial, but the insurance claim was paid with no arguments or attempts to reduce our payment.
We would highly recommend the AXA Assistance USA Gold plan to others.

I especially appreciated your email communication after I purchased the plan. Your email listed all the contact information which I would need in the event of any service or claim issue. I’m thankful that I did not need to contact your service department or your claim unit,, but it was nice to know that I had all the necessary information if it were necessary to do so. Unfortunately as is with most insurance plans, you don't know how good the plan is until you have a claim. I did not have a claim, and as such, I could only give a neutral rating on satisfaction and level of coverage and important items.
