I didn't have to use my insurance but I felt secure knowing I had it. The price was very reasonable and covered me for all possibilities. I will use it again.

We had to reschedule a trip to panama for medical reasons. RoamRight reimbursed us for the expenses incurred - no questions asked. Also paid very quickly.

C&F Travel Insured InternationalWorldwide Trip Protector Lite
Unfortunately, like most insurance, this policy only served me while I paid the premium, not when I needed the coverage. The company managed to find a loophole in my coverage for the airfare and took advantage of a simple human error that common sense had it been applied would not have excluded me from coverage. The company totally ignored one part of the claim that was not even addressed. I'm hoping insuremytrip can advocate for me in standing behind the products you recommend to us.

"We apologize if you have experienced anything less than 100 percent customer satisfaction. In regards the claim, our policies state that if your travel supplier cancels your trip, a benefit will be paid for the reissue fee charged by the airline for the tickets. You must have covered the entire cost of your trip including the airfare cost. Since the entire trip cost was not covered, and since there was no change fee as there are no plans to use the airline tickets, those benefits are not payable. We want to assure you that members of our Customer Care and Claims Department and are always readily available to our customers to answer any questions you may have, and they can be reached at 1-800-243-2440. "
