Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
This insurance was reasonable and competitive in price, and provided the needed coverage. However, when our total trip amount dropped substantially well before the trip date, due to a reduction in ticket prices, the company was totally unwilling to adjust our insurance price accordingly. We were forced to insure our trip for twice the needed amount. I realize that information is buried in their fine print, but we did not appreciate the lack of understanding and flexibility the company operates under. I would never use this company for my travel needs again.

We can understand that you would not be pleased with the response. Unfortunately, it is not the decision of InsureMyTrip, but it is based on the wording on page 1 of your policy certificate.
"All premium is non-refundable after a ten (10) day review period. In the event the premium paid for coverage is less than the required premium for coverage, benefits will be paid in direct proportion of the actual amount paid to the required premium due."
You are certainly able to request changes to your policy any time prior to your departure date, but a refund would not be provided if the change resulted in a decrease in premium.

I purchased this for elderly mom and myself because you just never know. I felt at ease knowing I had the coverage if it was needed, but we didn't. Thank you.
I will definitely purchase again as on this Cruise there was a guest that needed emergency medical care and had to change our route just a bit. It's good to be protected against any unforeseen emergency, incident, etc.

This plan seemed to cover what I needed to cover; I didn't make a claim so all I can really review on was that the coverage seemed ok, and they had no issues taking my money... all good there... nothing exceptional, nothing disappointing.
