I was happy I purchased your travel insurance even though we did not have to use it . It was worth the peace of mind to know if an emergency came up we were covered.

We purchased the insurance because Nationwide is a company with a good reputation and it came highly recommended. We have used it several times in the past and have found it to be a good value for the coverage provided. We have not had cause to use it as of yet, so have not had experience with the claims process.

Currently we do have a "Help" screen available that advises if you are "VISITING MULTIPLE COUNTRIES?, Choose the country where you will be spending the most time or the first country you are visiting outside the U.S. If you are taking a cruise, select the first port of arrival as your destination." Perhaps we can improve that screen to better assist future travelers to our website.

Whenever I purchase a travel insurance plan, my primary concern is the medical coverage and medical evacuation, which can be very costly. This plan had better protection, in that respect, than many of the others for this price point. Lost baggage and delay of trip are more or less standard in all of these plans. I also look to see that my protection is primary, rather than secondary. This means that if my baggage is lost, I don't need to file a claim with my homeowner's insurance company and just file directly with the travel insurance carrier. I did not need to file a claim (happily) so I can't comment on their service, which, after all, is what this is all about, but the protection available suited my requirements.

Thank you for your comments. Although not all our plans offered "concierge services", there are many plans that did offer assistance with planning your travel.
Your plan, the TravelSafe Classic plan, offered "One Call Concierge Services which included:
• Restaurant, shopping, hotel recommendations/reservations
• Local transport (rental car, limousine, etc.) information and reservations
• Sporting, theatre, night life and event information (sports scores, stock quotes, gift suggestions, etc.), recommendations and ticketing
• Golf course information, referrals, recommendations and tee times
• Tracking and assisting with the return of lost or delayed baggage.
TravelSafe also offered "One Call Business Services" that included:
• emergency correspondence and business communication assistance
• assistance with locating available business services such as: express/
overnight delivery sites, internet cafes, print/copy services
• assistance with or arrangements for telephone and web conferencing
• emergency messaging to customers, associates, and others (phone, fax, e-mail, text, etc.)
• real time weather, travel delay and flight status information
• worldwide business directory service for equipment repair or replacement, warranty service, etc.
• emergency travel arrangements.
