The plan we purchased was exactly what we needed. Unfortunately, we had to cancel and reschedule. The plan paid the exact amount we documented with no issues. It took a little longer than expected (about three months) but it was an easy process.

Choice
I chose the 'cancel for any reason' option, and when I contacted a representative by phone, I was told my claim was valid, and would be paid. Once I was assigned a (different) representative for email contact, she told me my claim was not covered. I persisted and asked to have a claim form sent to me so I could file. In the end, it was, in fact, covered. If I had not been persistent, I would have lost hundreds of dollars.

Based on your review, it appears you took the steps that we would have recommended, but we do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim.
