Unfortunately when my wife became ill we were forced to cancel our trip up the Danube from Bucharest to Budapest. The only "challenge" was my forgetting to enclose one piece of information and their needing an actual letter from the trip provider (Avalon) of how much my refund from them would be. Let me thank Avalon as well as they responded immediately with the necessary information. The whole process took less than 30 days.

In this case the insured filed a claim for travel baggage delay on the return trip home. The baggage delay under the policy states that it only covers baggage delay going to your destination, not the return trip back to your residence.Jul 13,2011
