Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Lengthy review process and incompetent claims agents exacerbated the time it took to review my claim and only paid out a portion of the claim. I provided the claim form and supporting documentation, including an excel spreadsheet with sufficient detail the first time I submitted the claim. The agent requested said claim form and said documentation nearly two weeks later and then offered a portion of the claim about a week later. Look elsewhere.

We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed in the claim process and apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced. You first submitted your claim on 10/17/2018, but your check was not issued until 11/12/2018. That is a little longer than Crum and Forster Travel Insured's usual turnaround time of two to three weeks. In addition, you submitted your claim under Travel Delay which has a maximum limit of 1,000 USD (200 USD per day) for each traveler, so if you were delayed for only one day, your maximum reimbursement would be only 400 USD for two people.

I was in Guatemala when a volcano erupted. I did not have disruption of my plans, but I appreciated the fact that insure my trip was aware of my location and sent me an email advising me to contact them if needed. Nice bit of reassurance.

Insure my Trip always has what I want in terms of good coverage for a reasonable price. Fortunately, I’ve never had to make a claim but I feel more confident having purchased travel insurance through them before I leave!

on this trip,everything went smoothly so I had no need to use the insurance. On two previous trips where I had to cancel at the last minute, you were very easy to deal with to recover my prepaid expenses.

It was nice to have the security this plan provided. Thankfully we did not have to use the coverage but we told ourselves many times during the trip that we were okay because if anything happened to my daughter She would covered. I will always purchase this coverage each time anyone in our family travels abroad. Thanks!

Although I didn't need to use this service on this particular trip, on my last trip to Australia I had fallen and broken my arm, requiring Medical Care both on the cruise ship and in New Zealand. Everything was covered 100%
