Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
It was bad enough to have a 24+ hour delay and a lost day in Brussels to only have the insurance company ask for unreasonable items to verify our trip cancellations. Beware that if you miss a ticketed activity, they want official cancellation documents from the companies. Apparently, showing missed flights and missed hotel nights was not enough to convince them that we also missed the activities. We even had to pay for two hotel rooms on one night in order to prevent our entire reservation in Brussels from being cancelled. We were not able to get reimbursement for that That does not work when you don't even get a chance to visit the city and the tickets were through companies that does not advertise email address for which to get cancellation documentation. Needless to say, this was a waste of money and we are COMPLETELY dissatisfied with their service. Never again! We ended up paying an extra 25% of our total trip cost only to be shunned by this insurance carrier.

However, it is a standard requirement of AXA Assistance USA, as well as all other travel insurance providers, that the traveler submit copies of invoices, reservations and/or receipts along with the common carrier and any other travel providers' cancellation confirmation.

At AXA, we do require that proof of loss must be provided in order to process a claim and understand that sometimes it can be an inconvenience to obtain that information. C&F Travel Insured InternationalWorldwide Trip Protector Lite
Medical and emergency transportation provider, On Call International employed by insurance provider was very difficult to deal with. Flight arrangements had to go through numerous levels of review and delays. We were told at 1:30am that we had a flight the next morning (airport about 1 hr away), and could not arrange reliable medical transport, subsequently missing our flight. On Call was not able to arrange suitable flight for the next day, so I booked on my own.
Travel Insured International denied payment for my return flight as covered in the policy, however, after i provided information that they should have had (On Call was able to get a refund for the missed flight), they said I will be reimbursed.

On the plus side, we can confirm that C&F Travel Insured did follow through and issue your payment on October 23rd which you should have received by now.

Each Company will base the premiums of their plans by 3 main factors; (1) the ages of the travelers, (2) the length of your trip from home to home and (3) the total cost of your pre-paid trip cost. As the traveler's ages change, trip costs increase or the length of the trip is extended, the prices will also change accordingly.

Although I did not file any claims, it was easy to purchase this insurance and customer service was excellent. I would definitely call them in the future and hopefully, if I did have to file a claim, would not have any problems.

This is the second time I bought the Travelex Travel Max plan. Thankfully everything went fine this time but the last time when I bought it in December of last year my flight to London was cancelled and the airlines had to book us on a different flight. Due to this, we missed our hotel stay and also incurred other expenses. Upon return we filed our claim with Travelex and the claim was processed within a matter of days without an issue and the check was mailed to us. I already recommend Travelex insurance to my friends and family and will continue to do so.

The last day of our trip we found a scratch on our rental car. The rental car agency charged us for the damage and we submitted a claim under the policy purchase through Travelex. Received reimbursement about a month later.
We were please with the result and will purchase this insurance for future trips.
