Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Due to my father's death we had to cancel a trip to Sweden and Denmark. Once we submitted all the paperwork (electronically), the claim was processed quickly and the payment sent. The amount we requested and substantiated was sent. We did take the time to provide a lot of documentation which probably helped make our claim an easy one to process. I would use Nationwide again for trip insurance.

They finally paid what was covered by the plan, HOWEVER, it took multiple phone calls and emails to get any action on the claim. It took 4 months to finally receive the reimbursement we were entitled to, thanks to the help of a contact at Insure My Trip.

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.
We had to submit a claim for medical treatment on a cruise ship. The online claims process was relatively easy, and though the claim review was not particularly speedy (about 1 month), our claim was paid in full with no questions asked. We would get a policy from them again.

Thank you for taking time to respond and congratulations on your stress-free travel. However, If you had needed help when traveling, Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection would have offered you 24/7 emergency travel assistance. In the event of a claim, Berkshire Hathaway claims representative would have strived to review and process your claim as quickly as possible.
Always a great experience. When I realized a did not put in the correct travel dates a rep fixed it at no charge to me. Never had to file a claim (knock wood) but very pleased with service.

We had to cancel our trip due to an injury suffered in a fall. AIG Travel Guard was prompt in sending cancellation forms and in paying the claim. We were quite satisfied.
