Your Generali Global Assistance Standard plan does include Secondary Coverage which means that this coverage will be paid after any other Primary collectible insurance has paid the claim and the Primary policy limits have been exhausted. In the event of a medical claim, you may have to pay the medical provider out of pocket and receive reimbursement at a later date.

I got very good help and suggestions from the woman at the insurance company to choose the right plan. Luckily I did not need to use the insurance so I cannot comment on that.

We insured a two week trip to Asia because of our daughter's illness that would require a speedy trip home. The necessity didn't happen. We were glad to be covered for the eventuality, but it was extremely pricy for just two weeks. Had we had to use it obviously the cost would have been well worth it.
