I really cannot rate the coverage because I had to have spinal surgery Feb9th and we had to cancel the trip. I just got all the information together to send to the company and it will go in the mail tomorrow. I think I have included everything the insurance company asked for

My husband had to have emergency surgery two days before we were to leave on this trip. I got a letter from the surgeon two days after his surgery and a couple other required documents and submitted my claim about 5 days after our trip was to take place. We received the full reimbursement we asked for on Dec 31 -- only 12 days after our trip was to end. They were very fast and polite and kept me informed via email. I will use them again.

We went on a cruise to Mexico. While on the cruise a woman got sick and had to be taken off the ship via the US Coast Guard. She was then taken to San Diego where she was put in an ambulance and taken to the hospital. We spoke with her son-in-law about her ordeal and the first question I asked "Did she have trip insurance?" The answer was no! They said that they could kick themselves no for not buying it. Saw another woman laying on her back (she tripped) and broke her arm. Don't know if she had trip insurance - I hope she did. So many things can happen while away from home - don't leave home with trip insurance!

We did have a bag delayed. It was never put on the plane in our departure city. It ended up arriving at our hotel later that evening, fortunately we had a pre-night in FLL before our cruise. Didn't have to use the lost or delayed luggage benefit, but we were very glad we had the coverage!
