C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
Our trip was mildly impacted by Hurricane Dorian (cruise itinerary changed). We never had any worries, though, knowing we were covered in the event of a major problem. Invaluable peace of mind!

The reason I would not recommend is that our travel plans changed but I wanted to change my plan and was told no. No refund and to late to change without sending in lots of paperwork.

Unfortunately, your request to cancel the policy was made after the 10 day review period had expired. To prevent your premium from going unused, we offered to submit a request to transfer the policy to a new trip. In order to submit this request we do need documentation showing your original trip was cancelled or transferred and documentation confirming your new trip details. The documentation is used for both auditing purposes as well as confirmation of the changes with the travel suppliers. I had the unfortunate loss during our covered trip, and upon return, filed a claim. It took 3+ months for reimbursement of funds, including 4 phone calls requesting some sort of answers for the lengthy delays. Ultimately, the claim funds were reimburse to me, however, only after a delay. This was after I submitted all the necessary paperwork, i.e. receipts, medical records, medical release of information, etc., so the delay was not on my (the customers) end. Good coverage for my families needs, but slow to reimburse the covered loss expense.

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.

Travelex Travel Select
Travelex Travel Select was a very reasonable insurance plan to cover all my travel worries. Fortunately, I did not have to make a claim but was happy to have this insurance just in case!

We did not have to file a claim but there was a time during the trip that we were sure the airline was going to lose our luggage as we got bumped on a few flights - thankfully the luggage arrived with us but we were very glad we HAD OUR INS PLAN in place just in case things had not worked out with our luggage. thank you.
