the key thing that made me purchase was the amount of coverage on medical as well as for emergency medical evacuation. much for $ coverage for such a little cost difference. the other plans i considered were very weak in $ protection for around the same price structure.

I 'Insured my Trip' last year using Travelex and the cruise I was on had problems resulting in a very late arrival in Ft Lauderdale. I had to rebook my flight for the next day and incurred a fee for that along with a hotel room and a meal. I filled out a claim upon arriving home and received a check covering everything, no muss no fuss
