Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
We didn't need to use our plan on this trip, but a few others in our group suffered injuries. Their misfortune served to remind us that anything can happen at any time. We were glad to have the peace of mind this policy provided.
The cost was reasonable and the purchasing process was very easy.

This is an update of a previous review. My claim has been approved and should be paid within 10 days. I think the process could have been simpler. I had a previous claim several years ago that was handled much more expeditiously. I will not use AIG again.

Like all good insurance you hope you never have to use it. Have piece of mind while traveling that if something happens we are covered. While on this trip an elderly passenger on the trip ended up in the hospital and the hospital was not going to release her (heard the conversation the daughter had with hospital while traveling on the bus) with out a payment of $10,000 being made on a credit card. The daughter had to call the US Embassy for assistance.

We are over seventy and were in Europe for over three months. We paid $4,500 for your insurance. Nothing happened. We rented a car but you did not cover that because we had insurance from my credit card (which paid us for a charge). So your insurance was useless to us. We have discovered that we don't need the medical coverage you provide and almost everything else you cover is incidental and rare.
