The plan provided what I needed though may not be at the amount of coverage I wanted for the price I consider reasonable. Nonetheless, it provided me the peace of mind that I have something to fall on should I and my granddaughter need it. I am glad I did not have to file a claim, though it leaves a question on how well my claim would have been handled.

since I did not have to file a claim I do not know if there would have been any problems. The price was half the cost that the cruise line wanted to charge for basically the same coverage.

Although I am completely happy with the plan I feel that the plan costs have risen lately so that they are almost what I would pay with my travel company and their insurance covers medical expense as "primary", not secondary

Thank you very much for your review. Travel Insurance rates are based on a number of factors including, but not limited to: age of the traveler, length of trip, and trip cost.
The agent I talked with was very friendly and helpful. Someone in my group did fall and will need to file a claim for some dental work. Another person lost their passport and will file a claim for some of these expenses. I expect they will have no problems. Even though I did not have any problems, it was a good feeling to know that I had good coverage while traveling in Europe.

I trusted the American Express name, so that if I had a problem it would be taken care of. InsureMyTrip was a better bargain than the insurance sold by my travel company.

The trip insurance plan we purchased (Seven Corners) was 50% less than the one offered by the trip operator; which is the main reason we chose. The coverage seemed as good or better and the agent was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional in signing us up. We will use your services again in the future.

Due to Super Storm Sandy, my airport was closed for a few days and it was uncertain if it would open in time for my flight to the combination land tour and river cruise. But it proved impossible to understand what portions of your contract might apply if the flight was cancelled. Oh, the questions I had: Which applied -- the land tour coverage or the cruise? How much of a delay was needed to meet your requirements? What were my options? Could I cancel the trip entirely? Must I miss several days and pick up the cruise at its next port? Was I to pay for the new connections and later hope for reimbursement? And there was no telephone number to use to contact you to ask.
Fortunately, the airport opened in time to catch our flight, but the experience concerned me enough to make me hesitate to buy Seven Corners insurance in the future. Isn't there some way to write the contract in Plain Language? Wouldn't good customer service require a contact number for your company?
