The plan seemed to cover all of the items that were of concern. Foreign health insurance, trip cancellation, and trip alteration among them. Fortunately, we did not need to make a claim. I could not figure out how the "pre-existing condition waiver" worked. I acquired the insurance within 30 days of making my initial trip payment and within 24 hours of making my final non -refundable payment. I wanted only the two payments for transportation to be covered. All others were refundable. I assume that we were covered for pre-existing conditions. I need to be sure prior to our next trip.

Thankfully we didn’t need to file a claim. But the peace of mind for tgr easonable price of this plan was well worth it. I will be purchasing future coverage from Insure My Trip. They were so easy to work with and professional.

One of the best things about a trip is NOT having to use your travel insurance. However, after at least a couple of travel disasters (almost inevitable if you travel enough), I would never think of an international trip without it. Also, US citizens 65 years old and older are not covered by Medicare abroad. So travel policy covering medical needs is inescapable.
This policy, although unused, covered my medical needs well, should there have been any, as well as other important aspects of travel. I felt totally secure while traveling and the policy was moderate in cost. I have worked with INSUREMYTRIP twice and find them courteous, knowledgeable and reasonable in cost. I will most certainly use them again the next time I travel abroad.
