Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
This is the first time I have had to use my insurance, so I was a little worried if I had the right documents and if the claim would be accepted. My flight was cancelled and rescheduled. I submitted a hotel receipt for the night and it was approved in less than 2 weeks. I am very pleased with the process. Travelex/Berkshire Hathaway had a form to fill out, along with my receipts, and all could be submitted by email. I contacted customer service to begin the claim and spoke with a knowledgeable rep.

I have called on their Customer Service several times to help me with my insurance. The staff is well trained and can get you your answers. I will never leave home without insurance and Nationwide is the insurance of my choice.

Thank you for your reply. Your AIG Travel Guard Basic plan provided 100,000 USD in Emergency Medical Evacuation which provides transportation when:
"(a) the Insured's medical condition warrants immediate transportation from the place where the Insured is injured or sick to the nearest Hospital where appropriate medical treatment can be obtained;
(b) after being treated at a local Hospital, the Insured's medical
condition warrants transportation to where the Insured resides, to obtain further medical treatment or to recover; or
(c) both (a) and (b) above."
Of course, AIG Travel Guard does offer higher limits with the Silver plan 150,000 USD, Gold plan 500,000 USD or Platinum plan 1,000,000 USD.
