We did not have to use the insurance, which is really the only way to truly rate the plan. However, we selected this particular plan to provide the coverage we wanted - waiver of pre-existing conditions, reasonable dollar amounts and time frames for delayed/lost baggage and trip delays to kick in, etc. Assuming we selected correctly, the plan offered the desired coverage for a fair price compared to some of the other plans we also considered. We felt secure knowing we had it.

One cannot evaluate travel insurance unless it is used. It is always easy to purchase and one hopes it covers all contingencies, but one never knows until that accident or sickness happens. Our trip, fortunately, went smoothly.
