Would have preferred more communication as to status of claim (when received, processing, etc.), but claim was paid as requested in a normal amount of time.

Claim was processed very promptly. Agents on phone were very pleasant and helpful, and we received all we had lost by having to cancel our trip. Will definitely use this company again.

I took all 5 of my grandchildren to Costa Rica. In late April, one of the travelers had emergency surgery. He was only released by the Doctor 3 days before the trip. Luckily, we did not have to use the policy, but knowing we had it, made a very tense time a little easier.

I would have preferred a 100% return of my travel costs in the event of cancellation before the trip, but I guess one can't have everything. I got what I wanted-great coverage on medical benefits.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The TravelSafe Classic Plus plan covers Trip Cancellation up to 100% of the trip cost, and Cancel For Any Reason which reimburses up to 75% of the trip cost.
Trip Cancellation covers events such as an unforeseen illness, injury, or death of the insured person(s), traveling companions, and immediate family members. Cancel For Any Reason covers events that are not covered by Trip Cancellation.
To qualify for the Cancel For Any Reason benefit, the customer must purchase the TravelSafe Classic Plus plan within 21 day of making the initial trip payment, insure the full pre-paid and nonrefundable trip cost, and cancel the trip more than 2 days prior to the departure date.
