Very disappointed with the service I received from both Insure My Trip and Trip Assure Advantage. I called Insure My Trip twice about who to place a claim. They wanted nothing to do with me and told me to call Trip Assure. I called Trip Assure and was told someone would call back in 24 hours but no did. I called again and no return call. I then filed my claim on line and it said it would be processed and paid in 30 days. It ended up taking over 60 days and was only paid after I followed up and was on hold for 30 minutes waiting for a customer service rep. I used to be a loyal Insure My Trip customer but since this problem I have switched to another company and I will never use Trip Assure again.

This is the second time we've purchased travel insurance for vacations through Insuremytrip.com. With me having preexisting conditions it gave such peace of mind to know that if something were to happen that we would be able to get the help we needed while out of the country. Also to know that should any unforeseen circumstances prevent us from going on the trip at the last minute that we would be able to recoup our paid expenses. It's hard to truly evaluate this plan because mercifully I didn't need to make a claim, but it was very affordable and provided the coverage I was looking for - trip cancellation and lost luggage.
