Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
We didn't need to use this, thank goodness. The coverage was rather expensive and, because we didn't sign up early enough, the plan did not cover all medical expenses--only secondary coverage. As seniors, we have Medicare as our basic insurance and that didn't cover us as we were traveling.

I have tried calling but your lines are busy due to the pandemic, I understand. But I would like to speak to someone to confirm what would have been covered or not covered under my policy if I had to cancel mid trip.

Plan covered emergencies. We had none and didn’t need to make any claim. We have no idea about how they would have handled a claim if we had needed to make one.
