Was bitten by some insects, our left arms were swollen and itchy. Went to a pharmacy which they suggest Allegra and steroid creams to apply to our arms. Within 12 hours swelling and itching was decreased. Because we did not see a doctor they refused to reimbursement.

Fortunately I didn’t have to use it. However had I tested positive for Covid and could not immediately return to the US I felt confident the policy would take care of the costs associated with quarantine

We did not go to Costa Rica and I tried multiple times to get in touch with someone. I thought the point of travel insurance was to help with the cost when you couldn’t go.

We bought this plan specifically for a trip to Costa Rica. They have very specific rules for entry due to COVID. This plan covers all necessary requirements for Costa Rica.

We needed travel insurance especially for Costa Rica which is requiring it now with specific criteria. I was able to chat with the online representative to confirm that the policy had the correct coverage. When I received the policy, I was able to download it and then upload it to the Costa Rica travel site in order to produce the needed QR code for admission into the country. The price was half of what the travel agent quoted us. I always use insuremytrip.com when travelling internationally.

We had to cancel our trip on March 2nd due to illness. This was at the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic. It took a few weeks longer than usual for the claim to start being processed (which was very understandable). But once the agent opened the case, the process took about a week to complete. Then once fully approved, we received a check for the full amount of insurance claim in 3 days. Outstanding service!
