You have to be aware to purchase the policy early enough to obtain coverage for pre-existing conditions. The plan provided coverage that I needed, at a reasonable price compared to other plans.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. For the Seven Corners Roundtrip Choice plan, the Pre-Existing Conditions exclusion is waived if the traveler purchases the policy within ten days of the initial deposit, and insures the full cost of the trip.Feb 14,2015

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip because we fell ill. I emailed AXA the completed claim forms and a note from the doctor. AXA paid us the full amount claimed, quickly, and with no hassle.

Thank you for providing feedback on your policy. In calculating premium, insurance providers use the following information: the cost of the trip, the ages of the travelers, and the length of travel. In general, comprehensive policies cost 4%-10% of your total pre-paid, nonrefundable trip cost. For example, if you purchase a trip with a total cost of $5,000, the travel insurance policy should cost less than $500.Jan 06,2015

My family had to cancel a trip to Costa Rica at the last minute due to a relative who became very ill and was close to dying. We filed our claim, and within a couple of weeks, we were reimbursed for our trip. The representative from Travel Guard was pleasant and very helpful. I would highly recommend Travel Guard for trip insurance.
