I was reimbursed for all expenses as per the agreement and I am satisfied that they acted in good faith. Were it not for the inordinate delay - they themselves admitted it took too long - I would have given them 5 stars.

I didn't need to make a claim but was still glad to have the coverage at a reasonable price. I appreciated the occasional emails the company sent just to keep in touch and let me know they were there if needed.

I found the process to decide on the best insurance plan very efficient and easy to understand. Considering my overall cost for this trip, the cost for insurance was significant but worth it for our peace of mind. I found the added cost for car rental insurance competitive with the rental car agency quoted cost. All in all, it seem like a prudent choice for our peace of mind.

Our trip was delayed for 3 days due to canceled flights because of a snowstorm. I called the claims dept. to see if we could claim the trip cost , as we were going to miss the first 3 days of the tour and would like to reschedule it for another time. I was told that yes we were covered if flights were canceled for 24 hours but only if the airport was officially closed. Seems like a loophole, as all flights in and out of the airport were canceled but the airport was not "officially closed." They said we could put in a claim under the trip delay coverage which had a limit of $150/day to a maximum of $500 total. This was done and the claim was processed promptly.
