I bought the policy based on fair pricing and good coverage. I put down a deposit on my trip with Crystal Cruises, who then went bankrupt. I filed a claim for the deposit under the travel policy along with the requested documentation, and the claim was paid with zero hassle. I then changed to another cruise line and the remainder of the trip went perfectly with no further issues. I'm very pleased with Generali.

Fortunately we did not need to use our plan. Only purchased the part in case of illness or quarantine as our trip itself was covered by the tour company. Was glad to find a plan that actually HAD quarantine coverage & that it could be purchased separately.

I bought Nationwide Prime through "insuremytrip.com". Unfortunately I had an issue on my overseas trip. Very difficult to contact a "Nationwide" rep who knew about this obvious 3rd-party insurance. First words out of his mouth were "I don't think we cover you for that". That's never good to hear when you're in a foreign country. I suffered with the issue until I got back to the US and was covered by my employer's health plan. $20/day travel insurance is barely worth the 64 pages of fine print. Never again.

Do not use Trawick at all! My baggage was delayed and I filed all documents on time and to the letter. Initially I was told I would hear back in 10 days. Then I was told I would hear back in another 15 business days. Well, another 15 business days have passed. When I called them again, it was as though I was in the wrong. I tried being as polite as possible and then he told me I would hear back in another 30 business days. Along the way, he kept telling me I would receive a status update in an email. I never once have received any emails or updates. Nothing. When I had emailed them, absolutely zero response numbers of time. They said I could go to a website (cbpconnect) to get a status update. When I went there, nothing. And then when I asked on the phone call about it, it says I'm in the system. When I asked I why I wasn't even receiving any updates, he sighed and basically said wait the month.
I think it's all a scam to actually not pay out on an actual valid claim. I submitted airline baggage lost claim forms, boarding passes, filled out Trawick forms, everything. Early and on time and thing.
I am very disappointed in Trawick and in Insuremytrip for even giving them such high ratings when they have been so poor in every aspect of their customer service.
