Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Thankfully I did not have to utilize the insurance. The pricing is fair compared to other travel insurance offered and it does cover much more so I suppose it's great. I think overall if it was a little cheaper I'd be happier!!

I could not have been more impressed with quality of service I received or the patience or expertise of Generali personnel when I called with my endless stream of questions. (We had never purchased travel insurance before and so, the whole process was quite a mystery.) To be clear, we didn't file any claims so I can't speak to that part of the product experience but that aside, I was entirely happy with our interactions and would definitely recommend Generali to a friend and make it my first stop the next time we're planning a big trip.

This process and service provided the only trip insurance I could find that would cover high dollar sports equipment taken on vacation for the vacation. With my trip being a motorcycle tour, this was very important to me.

I, thankfully, didn't need to file a claim, but the coverages were in place for nearly all eventualities. The price was fair, as well. Insurance is a pure "peace of mind" product, until things wrong! during the time leading up to, during and after my trip, I had peace of mind! I'd recommend your product/services to anyone.

On the return flight to Chicago our checked bags did not arrive with us. Email the insurance to notify them of the problem. The bags had luggage tags that the insurance company gave us. The insurance company emailed me back that since I was home there was not coverage on the bags.

Unfortunately, none of our Comprehensive plans, including April Travel Protection, provide Baggage Delay reimbursement once you have returned home.
According to your policy:
"We will pay You, up to the maximum shown on the Schedule of Benefits, if Your Checked Baggage is delayed or misdirected by a Common Carrier for more than 24 hours, while on a Covered Trip.
If Your Checked Baggage is delayed after You have reached Your destination and the Common Carrier makes a charge for delivery,
We will pay the reasonable cost up to the Baggage Delivery Maximum Benefit shown on the Schedule of Benefits to deliver Your Checked Baggage to Your Destination. A copy of the delivery invoice and verification of the delay or misdirection by the Common Carrier must be submitted with the claim.
You must be a ticketed passenger on a Common Carrier. All claims must be verified by the Common Carrier who must certify the delay or misdirection and receipts for the purchase or replacement of necessary personal effects must accompany any claim."
Fortunately we did not need to use this insurance plan but we were glad that we had the coverage fro a very affordable cost. We will definately use your product for future trips.
