Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
It took about 2.5 months to get the check processed, but I got the whole 75% ($1275/$1700) back when I cashed in my cancel for any reason insurance. They were easy to work with. I would recommend this company if you need travel insurance.

Although I did not need to file a claim, it was reassuring to have this coverage when two flights involving connections were cancelled. I have used CSA before and found its detailed information on claim process to be very clear.

Although I didn't end up using the travel insurance, the Travelex people were very friendly and helpful. I bought the insurance on a Sunday night and my husband hurt his leg Monday afternoon, the very next day. I called Travelex to make sure that it was covered, in case we had to cancel the trip. The person, whom I talked to, assured me that it was and e-mailed me the forms that I would need in case we had to cancel the trip, so that I would have them when my husband went to his doctor's appointment.
As it turned out, we were able to go on the trip, but I was very pleased with the customer service from Travelex. They were very friendly with me on the telephone.
I will continue to buy Travelex insurance for my other trips.

Thankfully, I didn't need to use the plan for its main purpose -- emergency medical and trip coverage. However, my flight and luggage were both significantly delayed - events supposedly covered by the plan. I contacted customer support and although they were responsive, they provided absolutely zero actual material help in either speeding up delivery of the delayed luggage or providing any compensation related to the delays.

Your policy does include Travel Delay and Baggage Delay benefits. Receipts and documentation are required to support a claim. We encourage you to call the claims department to explain the events that occurred and they can advise you on if the events seem to fall within the scope of the policy. Without filing a claim, no determination can be made in terms of offering you compensation.
Please call us at 800-487-4722 and require assistance because InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate program. Customer Advocates contact the insurance providers on the customers behalf in an effort to resolve claim issues.
