Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Phone convo with a representative in advance of our trip was very helpful. She was very knowledgeable, not rushed, walked me through which options were best for our situation and why. We don't often find that level of customer service these days.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. We are sorry that you were dissatisfied with your claim experience. We are pleased that you ultimately received reimbursement of your loss. We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.
Purchased plan to be reimbursed for cruise ports if missed. Plan did not cover this and was I not given the proper information before purchasing the policy that this was not covered. Very disappointed. Will purchase future policy with another company that has covered this in the past.

Thank you for your feedback. You did purchase the Nationwide Essentials policy which does not cover missed ports. However, coverage for missed ports would have been provided under one of the Nationwide Cruise plans.
