I did not need to file a claim for this trip; however, my husband had to file one for a trip we took in November 2018. This company was great and reimbursed the amount not covered by our health insurance. This is why I will always use C&F Travel Insured International.

All things considered, seemed like a great plan. Better yet, never had to actually make a claim (yay!) but was a comprehensive plan and I felt security knowing I had it.

I tried to file a claim. The business I booked my hotels under informed me of their cease and desist order the day before I left for my international trip and I had to desperately look for hotel rooms. I was told it was not covered and was offered no help in finding new rooms. I am still trying to get reimbursed for the original rooms from my credit card company. Would not use this company again.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately your Generali Standard policy did not include coverage for a Financial Default. We also forwarded your email to Generali who replied as follows:

Unfortunately it does not provide coverage for financial insolvency."
