Was very happy with the coverage! Unfortunately, I had a hiking mishap in South America and had to use my policy. At the time, they got me on a first class flight home after breaking my ankle. All I had was a note from the Argentine hospital, but we took a picture of the note and my leg in the splint and emailed it. Once received, they arranged and paid for transportation to the airport and the flight to get home for surgery. I did not file a claim for the ER in Argentina or expenses for missed parts of the trip. I received a check for everything I claimed for within a couple of weeks of faxing the claim. They said to submit an appeal for the $40 paid for crutches but I never did.

We did not need to make any claims, as our trip went smoothly and no problems were encountered. It was reassuring to know we had coverage if something had occurred - especially all major cost areas. We had peace of mind, at a fair price.

This was my 3rd purchase of CSA insurance through IMT and the purchase experience has always been positive with fast response.
This is the first time I've had to file a claim with CSA. Our flight was delayed for several hours and baggage was lost for 2 days. When we returned home, I flied the claim and included all requested documentation which was scanned in and clearly labeled. The claim was under $100. After a week of not even an acknowledgement of receipt from CSA, I had to email twice before learning no one had yet had a chance to review the claim. When they did respond, they twice requested documentation I'd already sent (which I then resent), and each email required 3-4 days for a response.
In the end, after about 4 weeks, I received the requested reimbursement, but if they were more responsive and organized it sure would make the process less painful and luckily I wasn't out of a lot of money. It's good coverage at a reasonable price, but if you have a claim be prepared for frustration and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Delta offered us cheap coverage for the flights but we wanted the extra coverage for other arrangements. Delta would probably be cheaper for just the flight portion.
