Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
I was extremely impressed with this. I had to have minor surgery while in Europe. They helped get me to a hospital, prearranged for payment directly to the hospital, and promptly paid for my out of pocket expenses.
Thank goodness I got this insurance. Seriously never travel abroad without it!

We experienced a travel delay of a week while in the UK and a new itinerary that involved a new plane flight. Our car rental for that week was not covered, but meals and lodging and new flight and missed nonrefundable lodging were covered. It took several months to resolve the claim and then paid promptly.

A friend had the same plan and had to cancel their trip for medical reasons. AIG has given them the run a round for months. I would never use AIG based on their experience alone.

Plan was comprehensive and competitively priced. I have Medicare, so medical coverage abroad is important to me. This policy had a 150,000USD benefit, considerably more than most other plans I shopped.
