I purchased this plan because I have an elderly grandparent who I was afraid was going to pass away and wanted coverage in case I needed to cancel to attend funeral etc. The rep I spoke to assured me this plan would be sufficient if I needed to cancel for this reason. Fortunately, my grandparent rallied and we went on the trip. I can't say how easy it might of been to file a claim since I didn't have to, but felt better knowing I had some insurance in case.

I became very ill on a cruise in Feb. 2013 and requested a doctor come to my cabin because I was too weak and sick to go to the infirmary. He came with his nurse and he checked me and had his nurse to give me some pills. I paid 159.00 for this service and was promptly reimbursed after filing a claim upon my return. I'm glad I had this coverage, and will use them again whenever I travel which I do a lot of.

This was a short trip during the winter holiday season. Even a one day weather delay would have cost multiples of the purchase price for the insurance, so this gave me all the peace of mind I could ask for. An agent was very helpful in getting me the exact coverages I wanted; I really liked the personal service.
