Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Don't really know how well program works since luckily I did not need to use it. Felt safe and inner tranquility knowing I was protected should anything arise to cause a trip interruption or cancellation.

Are returning flight was delayed resulting in a missed connection getting back home. I expected to have coverage for luggage delay but was told policy didn't cover this...only hotel and meal costs. Also, even though I submitted the claim in my name and paid in full on my credit card one of the checks was made out to my traveling companion.

It took 5 months for my claim to be processed. That is ridiculous! I called every 2-3 weeks and every time they would say it would be completed in another 2 weeks. Crazy!

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.
My wife and I always use Insure My Trip and AIG Travel Guard. We have had to file claims twice and have been very pleased with the ease and efficiency of filing our claims. We will continue to use and recommend them!
