I'm pleased to report that nothing befell us that would necessitate a claim and that's very good news. But my husband and I have had accidents and illnesses in the past and consider travel insurance as important as sun block.
We have used Insure My Trip several times and find their services quick and easy to use. I'm confident that if we had a. Lain we could count on them to help us take care of it.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our records do indicate that you contacted InsureMyTrip on the day before you departed on your trip questioning if a family member, who was not on your policy, was unable to go on the trip due to a medical issue. Our customer care representative read to you the terms of the policy then transferred you to the claims department to report your claim. Although it is not unusual for customers to expect a determination of coverage with that phone call, coverage can only be confirmed by the travel provider and only after reviewing claim documents.

Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
I have traveled frequently during my 85 years and have always purchased enough travel insurance to cover my trip. For many years I never had a problem and the insurance simply bought peace of mind. Twice in the last two years I actually needed the insurance. My claims were processed promptly and fairly covering medical expense on one occasion and trip cancellation on another. I do recommend Trip Protector Lite.

Very poor experience with this company. Countless phone calls checking on my claim over a 3-4 month time period. Poor customer service and a lot of excuses. Would never use this company again.
